A Global Voice for Tibet’s Rights and Freedom
Building international support to defend Tibet’s freedom, culture, and human rights.
International Campaign for Tibet (ICT) is a global voice for human rights, democracy, and freedom in Tibet. Since 1988, we have worked to bring the voices of Tibetans to the world stage, collaborating with governments, parliaments, the European Union, the United Nations, human rights organisations, and Tibet’s democratically elected leadership in exile.
In Tibet today, speaking your language, practising your faith, or calling for basic rights can mean imprisonment. Without international pressure, repression continues unchecked. ICT exists to shine a light on these injustices and ensure that decision-makers cannot look away.
We combine high-level advocacy with grassroots mobilisation:
✔️ Documenting and exposing abuses inside Tibet
✔️ Lobbying governments and institutions to take action
✔️ Supporting Tibetans and allies to raise their voices globally
This strategy has made ICT the largest Tibet support group in the world and a crucial bridge between Tibet’s struggle and international solidarity.
