Defending Tibet through action, awareness, and alliances
ICT’s work is organised around four core programme areas that keep Tibet on the global agenda and strengthen the Tibetan movement.

Tibet Advocacy
We bring Tibet’s voice to parliaments, governments, and international institutions, pressing for policies that protect human rights, demand accountability, and promote the revival of the Sino-Tibetan dialogue.
Creating Awareness
Through campaigns, events, reports, and media outreach, we raise global awareness of Tibet’s struggle to ensure that the world cannot look away.

Environment, Water & Climate
Tibet is Asia’s “Third Pole,” vital for the water supply of 1.8 billion people across China, South and Southeast Asia. We expose the impacts of dams, mining, and climate change, and advocate for environmental justice and Tibetan voices in climate policy.
Empowerment & Resilience
We strengthen young Tibetans and allies through training, mentorship, and solidarity networks. Guided by non-violence and compassion, we foster resilience in communities and build alliances with the Uyghur, Mongolian, Hong Konger, and Chinese dissidents movements.
