Executive Director
Wangpo Tethong is the Executive Director of ICT Europe, responsible for our operations across Europe (excluding Germany and the German-speaking parts of Europe). An activist by nature, he brought fresh ideas and wide experience from his work with various Swiss and international organisations. He looks forward to having more leisure time to pursue some of his passions — perhaps starting a winery in Ladakh, developing a script for an adventure film, or exploring AI and the future of Tibet.
EU Policy Director
Vincent Metten is the EU Policy Director for the International Campaign for Tibet in Brussels, a position he has held since 2006. He previously worked on security issues at the European Commission and served as an international affairs adviser to the Belgian Minister of Defense. He enjoys going to his meetings in Brussels by bike and reading newspapers as well as watching human rights documentaries as part of the FIDH jury at the Festival des Libertés.
EU Advocacy Officer
Mélanie Blondelle is our EU Advocacy Officer. Based in Brussels, she ensures Tibetan voices resonates across EU institutions and policymakers. With previous experiences at Amnesty International and the EU Delegation to Thailand, she brings solid expertise in human rights and foreign policy. When she’s not navigating the EU bubble, you can find her exploring nature with her dogs.
Office Manager
Choezom is our Office Manager. She joined ICT in 2021 as Personal Assistant to the Executive Director and quickly expanded her role to cover donor relations, office management, IT support, and event coordination. Outside the office, she’s all about painting, family travel, cooking, and dancing to Bollywood hits.
Senior Communications & Campaigns Officer
Laila Tara is our Senior Communications & Campaigns Officer. She drives ICT Europe’s media strategy, digital campaigns and public engagement, making sure the world hears about Tibet. She brings hands-on experience from grassroots and humanitarian work around the globe, and a previous role at International Tibet Network. When she’s not advocating for Tibet, she channels her energy into mixed martial arts and motherhood — both full-contact sports in their own way.
Junior Communications & Campaigns Officer
Tenzin Dolkar is our Junior Communications & Campaigns Officer. Supports campaign strategy, content creation, and outreach to Tibetan and European audiences.
