The largest Tibet support group in the world
For more than 30 years, the International Campaign for Tibet has worked to protect Tibet’s people, culture, and environment through non-violent advocacy and international cooperation.
The International Campaign for Tibet (ICT) is a global non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting human rights, environmental protection, and democratic freedoms for the people of Tibet. Since our founding in 1988, we have built a worldwide movement that combines advocacy, research, and community action to ensure that Tibet’s voice continues to be heard.
Our strength lies in the people who make this work possible, from Tibetans risking their safety to share the truth, to volunteers, researchers, and advocates in Europe and beyond. Together, we bring Tibet’s story to policymakers, the media, and citizens across the world.
With offices in Washington, Amsterdam (European headquarters), Berlin, and Brussels, ICT connects the Tibetan struggle for rights and dignity to the global effort for justice, peace, and sustainability.

OUR APPROACH

Who We Are
We are a diverse, international movement guided by the principles of non-violence, compassion, and truth. ICT combines professional advocacy with grassroots solidarity to advance Tibet’s cause on the world stage.
How We Act
Our work is grounded in integrity and transparency. Every campaign, report, and donation is handled with responsibility and care, ensuring real and lasting impact.

Who We Rely On
We are a diverse, international movement guided by the principles of non-violence, compassion, and truth. ICT combines professional advocacy with grassroots solidarity to advance Tibet’s cause on the world stage.
Why We Exist
Tibet remains one of the least free places in the world. Freedom of religion, speech, and movement are heavily restricted, and the survival of Tibet’s culture and environment is under threat. ICT acts as a bridge between Tibet and the international community, ensuring that the truth about Tibet is not silenced, and that global leaders are held accountable.
Through our campaigns, reports, and advocacy, we turn awareness into action and solidarity into policy change.
