On Tuesday 30 September, International Campaign for Tibet Europe hosted a special screening of the documentary Wisdom of Happiness at Pathé Arena, Amsterdam. The film offers an intimate look at His Holiness the Dalai Lama as he reflects in conversation on themes of inner peace, compassion and the challenges of our time.
The afternoon brought together members of the Tibetan community, friends and supporters of ICT for an inspiring gathering. The film was followed by a Q&A session with Wangpo Tethong, director of ICT Europe, and Dr. Michael van Walt van Praag, international lawyer and expert on Tibet. The conversation delved deeper into the meaning of the Dalai Lama’s message in the context of today’s world and the situation in Tibet.
The day ended with a communal dinner at Momo Tibet in Amsterdam, where guests enjoyed delicious Tibetan food and had the opportunity to reflect on the film and conversation in an informal atmosphere.
