A year-long campaign to celebrate Peace, Justice and Human Solidarity to mark the 90th birthday of His Holiness the Dalai Lama on July 6, 2025!
As part of our campaign, we have developed special Compassion Boxes to encourage small but meaningful acts of kindness and connection. Put together with care and love, each box is designed to bring a piece of Tibet to Europe – and to ignite a spirit of compassion in your local community. The box itself features the beautiful work of contemporary Tibetan-American artist Tenzing Rigdol.
Each box includes Compassion Flags inspired Tibetan prayer flags that you can personalize, a Khatak (Tibetan ceremonial scarf), Compassion Tea, incense and other heartwarming items to celebrate your own Day of Compassion.
The artwork on the box is the centrepiece from Tenzing Rigdol’s Biography of a Thought installation at the MET.
