We contributed to campaigning against China’s attempts to erase Tibet by prompting the Musée du Quai Branly in France to reverse its use of the Chinese term “Xizang Autonomous Region” in place of “Tibet”. Efforts continue with other other museums to ensure the Tibetan culture and distinct identity are accurately represented in European cultural institutions.
