On 15 November, the International Campaign for Tibet (ICT) and FIDH released their new joint report, Dangers of China\u2019s counter-terrorism law for Tibetans and Uyghurs<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, which highlights the serious human rights risks and counter-productive nature of China\u2019s new counter-terrorism law that was adopted in December 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report was launched during a press conference at the Foreign Correspondents Club of Japan by ICT’s EU Policy Director Vincent Metten, who spoke about the implications of the new law, its human rights consequences, the security dimension and the international cooperation between China and third countries as Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
