Resistance in Focus: A Panel Discussion
This panel discussion is part of a series of activities leading up to March 10, a day of immense significance for Tibetans worldwide. The date commemorates the 1959 Tibetan Uprising against Chinese occupation and stands as a symbol of the ongoing fight for freedom, self-determination, and cultural survival. March 8 marks the International Women’s Day, a global day recognizing the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
This panel will integrate discussions on how gender intersects with resistance movements, particularly focusing on the role of women in struggles for freedom, environmental justice, and cultural preservation.
